Microorganisms - you can’t see them, yet they are the foundation of all life. Multikraft harnesses their potential and uses it as the basis for developing products for a wide range of applications. Using Multikraft technology and our knowledge of the importance of microbial communities, we develop solutions for gardening, agriculture, animal husbandry, household and cleaning, as well as personal care.
Company philosophy
Multikraft is committed to actively contributing to climate and environmental protection. After all, we want our world to remain a place worth living in for future generations. In doing so, we aim to contribute to the sustainable development of the agricultural and food system. Incidentally, our philosophy is reflected not only in the development of our products but also in the selection of our partners.
Research and development
We are proud to have brought onto the market the world’s first animal feed without antibiotic growth promoters, which is just as effective and affordable as conventional feeds.
Since then we have been constantly expanding our range of products and have applied for numerous patents. In our in-house development laboratory and in combination with our research partners, we are developing new microbiological solutions and improving existing ones.
Working for Multikraft
As a family-owned business, our actions are guided by a sense of responsibility and a spirit of partnership. Respect for nature and the environment is just as important to us as respect for our colleagues. We want every single person to feel comfortable in their job. That’s why, in addition to benefits such as free lunch and supplemental health care, we offer our employees the option to work from home and flexible hours.

Strength Lies in Experience
The Weiermair family farm is located in the idyllic town of Adlwang in Upper Austria and is currently home to about 320 pigs. Johannes Weiermair took over his parents’ organic farm in 2011 and has initiated several changes since then. The former mixed-farming operation has been exclusively dedicated to organic pig farming since 2020. As is so often the case in life, such a transition is always accompanied by ups and downs. In this interview, the passionate organic farmer discusses the challenges the family faced and how he continues to tackle them today using common sense.
Brown blades of grass, bare patches, and a lawn that looks a bit worn out overall: Heat and prolonged dry spells can take a significant toll in the summer. But even if your lawn looks anything but healthy right now, there’s still plenty you can do. Fall is the ideal time to help your lawn recover and, at the same time, prepare it well for winter.
That’s because, while the intense heat is over, the soil is still pleasantly warm. Cooler temperatures and more frequent rainfall create good conditions for growth. The grass can recover, form new roots, and gradually fill in smaller gaps.
No summer is complete without a barbecue! A fun get-together, a wide variety of dishes in a relaxed atmosphere—for many, firing up the grill is simply part of the warm season. What we put on the grill should be anything but a trivial matter: When you consciously choose seasonal vegetables and high-quality meat from Austria, you’re not just enjoying a meal—you’re also supporting local agriculture and regional economic growth.
