Stable cleaning and hygiene

Initial cleaning and regular bedding treatment results in colonisation by positive microorganisms, which prevent bad smells, fly infestation and decomposition.

Step 1 - Before transfer to stable

Water

  • ml
  • L
  • eMC Stable Cleaner
  • Water

Application

Pour the mixture into the bucket of the high-pressure cleaner and clean and wash out the stable thoroughly.

Tip

Do not forget the corners and gaps as there is heavy germ colonisation in those areas.

Step 2 - Before transfer to stable

  • L
  • L
  • FHE for horses
  • Water

Application

Add FHE to the water and spray, ensuring optimum distribution throughout the stable. Do not forget ventilation shafts, gaps in the roof etc.

Tip

The dosage for a horse box corresponds to mixing 5 L water and 1.5 L of FHE for horses.

Step 3 - Regular spraying

Water

  • L
  • L
  • FHE for horses
  • Water

Application

Add FHE for horses to the water and spray the solution onto the box walls and the floor with a backpack sprayer or mister. 1.25 L spray solution is approximately right for 1 horse box.

TIMING AND FREQUENCY

Two to three times a week.

Tip

Spray slightly more in areas used for defecation and urination. For sawdust: Spray the sawdust slightly more as it is very absorbent.

Treatment of stable manure

Manure is sprayed regularly.

Spray manure

Material

  • - L
  • FHE for horses (Fermented Herbs Extract for horses)

Application

Spray the manure with FHE for horses.

TIMING AND FREQUENCY

Once a week

Tip

We recommend adding ZeoBas ultra fine (rock meal) and charcoal. Add 1-2 kg of ZeoBas ultra fine and 2-3 kg of charcoal per m3 to the manure when mucking out.
Important: Do not scatter charcoal where the animals lie down as this can cause black colouration.

Treatment of meadows and pastures

Spraying promotes growth of dense, lush grass. It suppresses dock growth and plants contain more antioxidants and bioactive substances.

Spray

  • L
  • L
  • MK Soil
  • Water (minimum)

Application

Mix MK Soil with water and spray the pastures and meadows with the MK Soil solution.

TIMING AND FREQUENCY

Apply after every cut, preferably in the evening or early morning (not in strong sunlight).

Tip

Alternatively, 50 L of MK Soil / ha can be applied with the solid manure.

Improving water quality

The quality of drinking water plays an important role in animal husbandry. It can be improved significantly in the well or the pipes.

Water pipe

  • 1 x
  • EM Ceramic Water Reactor

Application

Install the EM Ceramic Water Reactor in the pipe - 5 x EM Ceramic 35 mm Pipes, 2 magnets and 2 spirals interact to produce the desired effect.

Tip

For even better water quality, you can have the EM Ceramics Swirler professionally installed in the inlet pipes - Caution: Note the flow direction of the water. The EM Ceramics Water Reactor and Swirler have a limited service life. They should be dismantled and cleaned at least once a year.
