Mulch treatment to improve the soil

Mulching not only keeps the soil and roots moist during hot periods, it also supports nutrient absorption, makes trees more resistant and reduces soil erosion in heavy rain.

Mulching

Per mulching

  • L
  • - L
  • MK Soil
  • Water

Application

Spray the MK Soil solution during mulching. The water quantity depends on the moistness of the vegetation.

TIMING AND FREQUENCY

Mulch in the morning dew or in the evening, not in strong sunlight.

Adding Bokashi (EM compost) for fertilisation

Spraying creates a stable environment more quickly and promotes the conversion of the organic compounds into humus.

Step 1 - Fertilising with Bokashi

  • - t
  • - t
  • Bokashi, depending on the material available
  • ZeoBas (basal rock dust)

Application

Scatter the self-produced Bokashi along with ZeoBas under the fruit trees.

TIMING AND FREQUENCY

Once in the autumn or spring

Step 2 - Watering the fertilisation

  • L
  • L
  • - L
  • MK Soil
  • Terrafert Soil
  • Water

Application

Immediately spray or water with the solution and work into the soil.

TIMING AND FREQUENCY

Once in the autumn or spring.

TIP

Detailed instructions for producing Bokashi (EM compost) can be found here.

Seedling treatment for better root formation

Dipping the root ball when planting gives seedlings the perfect start. It promotes and accelerates root formation.

Seedling treatment

  • 1 L
  • 10 L
  • MK Soil
  • Water

Application

To encourage root formation in the seedlings, briefly dip the roots in the solution before planting.

TIP

Then sprinkle the roots with a mixture of 4 kg ZeoBas (basal rock dust) and 1 kg EM ceramic powder.

Watering to increase resistance

Application through watering reduces fertiliser costs because the trees can absorb and utilise the nutrients much more efficiently.

Watering

  • L
  • MK Soil

Application

Mix MK Soil with the technically required quantity of water and apply.

TIMING AND FREQUENCY

Weekly by watering

Spraying fruit trees

This treatment is applied to trees for the next spring during budding and continuing treatment after blossoming strengthens resistance.

Protection for tree trunks

Trees are coated with a paste to treat wounds and protect against external influences. It can also prevent damage caused by game animals.

Coat tree trunk
