Production of Topdress
Organic wheat bran silage, organic spelt glumes silage
Topdress – Listed in the Austria Bio Guarantee catalogue as an aroma and herb. Topdress is a fermented herb extract and sugar-cane molasses fermented organic wheat bran and spelt glumes silage.
Composition:
0.5% special Bokashi powder
0.1% good, cold-pressed oil
3.0% Fermented Herbs Extract Concentrate (litre)
3.0% sugar-cane molasses (litre)
58.0% coarse wheat bran
8.0% spent glumes
27.4% water (end product should have approx. 35-40% moisture.)
= 100%
Here’s how to do it:
- Mix the ingredients well and compact vigorously!
- Put the mixture in an airtight container and do not open during the fermentation process (anaerobic process).
- Ferment at a temperature of at least 20 °C; avoid contact with direct sunlight. The area should be free of electronic interference.
- Topdress is ready in 14 days.
