Markus Wendler
EM applications in small sewage plants

In 2007, Markus Wendler started to service sewage plants. "Coming from a completely different industry, this was a great challenge for me. I was thrown in at the deep end, so to speak. "

We needed a solution in order to re-activate the small sewage plants. Since all conventional means failed, he was searching something better on a biological basis. He invested much time in research and experiments and came across EM by chance.

"Right from the start the use of EM achieved great results from the beginning; I have been using the eMB products since then, with great success." Per year, 400-500 small sewage plants are managed by Markus Wendler with the help of effective microorganisms.

Markus Wendler's EM-treatment:
An EM-treatment of a sewage plant is used as a treatment cure. During the first 2-3 days, Markus Wendler uses eMB Active (250ml of eMB Active per person / week). The particular amount depends on the size of the plant. At the beginning, the amount used should not be economized on in order to attain success. After the 4th day, eMB Active is being discontinued and therefore EM-Active (EMa) is being dosed via the household twice a week. Basically, a set up takes about 5-6 months or until the success emerges.

His customers are more than satisfied with the results. "Initially, the customers are skeptical and would prefer to use chemical agents. If the use of EM shows initial success, they all are enthusiastic. Not only does the small sewage plant run smoothly again, bad odors are almost entirely eliminated and sludge formation is reduced."

Markus Wendler’s hint for all EM-users:
Using EM, you need patience and should never start to economize on the amount, especially with the crowd. Only a well-fermented product also shows effect. The pH value of the activated solution should never be above 3.7.
