Dr Barbara Amon

  • Born in 1967 in Fürth, Germany
  • Studied agriculture with emphasis on livestock farming at the Technical University of Munich, graduated 1993
  • Graduated from the University of Natural Resources and Applied Sciences in Vienna (BOKU) 1998
  • Since 1994 at the Institute of Agricultural Engineering at the BOKU in Vienna, in areas of “animal husbandry and environmental protection” and “renewable energies”.

 

Dr Barbara Amon is a member of

  • IPCC Expert Panel “Good Practice Guidance and Uncertainty Management in National Greenhouse Gas Inventories”
  • FAO Network on Recycling of Agricultural, Municipal and Industrial Residues in Agriculture (RAMIRAN)
  • Austrian board of experts, IPPC (Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control), best available technology in pig and poultry husbandry

 

Since 2004 Cooperating with Multikraft on projects, above all, to reduce green house gases and the smell in animal breeding with Multikraft products.
