Success in gardening primarily depends on soil fertility. The Effective Microorganisms promote regenerative microorganisms in the soil.
They help to convert organic materials into nutrients that are available for plants and create an environment in which the pathogenic bacteria and pests are removed from their habitat. Effective Microorganisms help to significantly increase soil fertility and increase plants’ growth and resistance. |

The big project: Sand in Taufers
Ahrntal and, in particular, Sand in Taufers have tried to juggle the requirements of a region which focuses heavily on both agriculture and tourism for a long time.
During the search for a solution to this problem, a group of dedicated people from our community, primarily primary and middle school teachers as well as some managers of the community and the composting site, initiated the use of Effective Microorganisms about 2 years ago.
